Create and use shift templates

A shift template stores reusable defaults such as the shift name, start and end time, break, role, location, colour and notes.

Good template examples

Typical templates include Day Shift, Evening, Waking Night, Sleep-in or Closing Shift.

Templates stay editable

Changing a template helps with future scheduling. Existing shifts remain real shift records rather than becoming permanently dependent on the template.
