Create, edit or delete a shift

The rota builder is designed around the employee and date grid so common actions stay close to the schedule.

Create a shift

Click an empty rota cell or use the new shift action. Choose employee, date, start time, end time and any relevant role, team, location, template or notes.

Edit a shift

Open an existing shift card to change its details. Published changes can affect what employees see, so review the update before saving.

Delete a shift

Delete only when the assignment should be removed. Important rota actions are recorded in history where supported.
