The notification centre collects account-specific updates so users can see what changed without relying only on email.
Typical notifications
Examples include rota publication, shift changes, leave decisions, shift swaps, open shifts, cover requests and announcements.
Unread count
The notification indicator shows when there are unread items that may need attention.
